Armetco Expands Texas Facility
Armetco Systems recently added 8,000 square feet to it's Justin, Texas facility. The expansion was necessary to accommodate our growing plate panel and sun control business. This expansion along with the addition of the Monroe, GA facility in 2007 brings total production space to just over 60,000 SF.
Scott Blair named Vice President of Sales of Armetco Systems, Inc.
Armetco Systems is pleased to announce that Scott Blair has accepted the position of Vice President of Sales for Armetco Systems, Inc. Scott is a degreed engineer with 30 years of experience in the metal panel business at the sales, management and executive levels.
Scott became an independent sales rep for Armetco in January 2005. In April 2006 Scott accepted full time employment with Armetco as Eastern Regional Sales Manager, then in April 2007 was promoted to National Sales Manager.
Scott has been very instrumental in the recent growth and expansion of the Company. Scott opened the sales office in the Atlanta area in 2006 then headed up the opening of our new fabrication facility in Monroe, GA. Scott will continue to office in Atlanta, GA.
Armetco Systems opens Fabrication Facility in Atlanta
Armetco Systems is proud to announce the grand opening of our new 16,500 sf fabrication facility in Monroe, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. The new facility will employ approximately 20 experienced equipment operators and fabrication technicians. The plant will utilize state of the art equipment to fabricate and manufacture a variety of aluminum composite panels systems and custom architectural sun control devices. Jay Blair has been promoted from his position as Regional Sales Manager in our Eastern Regional Sales office to become General Manager of the new plant. Armetco Systems is committed to an environmentally conscious approach to product design, sustainable construction materials and recycle ability. We are proud to participate in the LEED Program sponsored by the Green Building Council. The location of the new facility and its proximity to our material vendors will allow owners, architects and customers to qualify for valued credits in the LEED Program.
