Armetco develops next generation of panel layout software

In 2006 Armetco began working with outside software consultants and programmers to develop a revolutionary program to take panels from shop drawings through optimization to CNC ready files. In 2009 Armetco hired Bryan Hazel to “personalize” the program to Armetco’s operation and panel systems. Bryan “launched” the program this August.

Armetco Drafting Manager, David Bradford states ”This thing is incredible! We took some old CAD shop drawings from a job we finished 5 years ago, plugged them into the program, and in minutes had fabrication tickets, panel maps, work order, optimization, AND the DXF cut files were ready to send to the router table.”

Lead layout man, Daniel Villa says ”This tool allows me to do layout 10 times faster than I could just a year ago."

Armetco buys new building for Georgia operation

Armetco recently purchased a new building on 4+ acres to house east coast operations. The purchase of a new facility with additional acreage allows for building expansion and expresses management’s commitment to growing the business in the southeastern US.
